I have relied on Advanced Services to provide routine HVAC maintenance in my home over the past eleven years, so when my aging system failed, Advanced was the easy decision to replace it, two and a half years ago.
Last month I discovered that a renegade thermostat continued to set itself on a vacation mode, even though I had never programmed that.
After failing to respond to my programming attempts, I called Advanced Services. Technician Tate Phillips attempted to reprogram the thermostat, but that was not the solution. In conference with Carrier over this very unusual problem, it was determined that the thermostat had somehow been shorted out, and it was replaced, as per warranty.
I appreciate the intensive detective work over several days that went into solving this unique problem, and that a replacement was promptly authorized.
