Thanks for visiting my site again this year. 2009 Was our best year in my racing career. We accomplished a lot of goals and WON our first two official races at KC Raceway. If we qualified for a race we were always in the top 5! That says a lot when we averaged 35 cars each night. We won almost every heat or finished 2nd in each heat all summer! We Finished 2nd in points to Rick Hensley who we gained a lot of respect for on and off the track. Congrats to Rick and his team.
Looking forward to 2010! That is for sure. Over 25 Races on the schedule already.
This year we have a new 2010 Lightning Chassis. We still have our ’08 Lightning and our ’06 Ellis. We actually plan on racing the Ellis for a while and the ’08 Lightning before we get the new car out….We have had so much success with that we are alittle afraid to change what has been working.
Fireball Racing has added videos to You Tube and www.fireballpinkerton.com, another great interactive tool for the fans. We plan on producing more videos of behind the scenes action, pit action, race shop action, and fan interaction in 2010 to also be on our website.
I would like to thank Jeff Schrader for keeping KC Raceway open and putting out a great 2010 Schedule. I would also like to thank all my sponsors for again supporting me in 2010. My goal each year is to support them and ask you the fans and customers to support them. (Tell them Fireball sent you). Thanks to Joe McNeal and Warren Ison for their time at the shop and track each and every week.
I will be racing at limited tracks this year including but not limited to: KC Raceway, Brushcreek Motorsports Complex, Rockytop Raceway, Skyline Speedway and Portsmouth Raceway Park.

A little about me. My racing career started in 1997 in the Hobby Stock Class. I built and drove a bright pink Trans Am. This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed this division because it gave me the opportunity to learn and get some driving experience. I raced for 3 years in that class then in 2000 and 2001 I took time off to get my Heating and Cooling Business started. Actually the entire business was started with the money from which I sold my pink Trans Am. ($5000.00). Sometimes I miss that car…..
My name is Dave Pinkerton, I was born in Chillicothe, December 30, 1970. I married Emily in 2000 and have two daughters; Hallie and Madilyn. Hallie is the oldest and Madilyn is the younger of the two. We live in Waverly. I am a member of Brookside Church in Chillicothe and have attended there for 10 years. God has really blessed our family.
