Thanks for visiting my site again this year. 2010 Was not our best year in my racing career as we suffered 6 engine problems, along with my engine builder Bruce Miehls of Fast Racing passed away and really left us scrambling to find a engine builder we could trust. Bob Profit of Performance Research became our engine builder and Jim Vulgamore also became our engine builder, thanks to both of them for keeping us going.
Fireball Racing has added more videos to You Tube and www.fireballpinkerton.com, another great interactive tool for the fans. We plan on producing more videos of behind the scenes action, pit action, race shop action, and fan interaction in 2011 to also be on our website.
I would also like to thank all my sponsors for again supporting me in 2011. My goal each year is to support them and ask you the fans and customers to support them. (Tell them Fireball sent you). BIG NEWS in 2011 is will be sponsored by HORIZON or sometimes still known as the Chillcothe Telephone Company. This is the biggest sponsor yet in all Fireball Racings years of racing. We are so excited about this opportunity to be able to drive for them. McDonalds Restaraunts have also came on board as a primary sponsor and we will be looking forward to the many promos that these two great local companies will be doing with us.
I will be racing at limited tracks this year including but not limited to: KC Raceway, Brushcreek Motorsports Complex, Rockytop Raceway, Skyline Speedway and Portsmouth Raceway Park.

A little about me. My racing career started in 1997 in the Hobby Stock Class. I built and drove a bright pink Trans Am. This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed this division because it gave me the opportunity to learn and get some driving experience. I raced for 3 years in that class then in 2000 and 2001 I took time off to get my Heating and Cooling Business started. Actually the entire business was started with the money from which I sold my pink Trans Am. ($5000.00). Sometimes I miss that car…..
My name is Dave Pinkerton, I was born in Chillicothe, December 30, 1970. I married Emily in 2000 and have two daughters; Hallie and Madilyn. Hallie is the oldest and Madilyn is the younger of the two. We live in Waverly. I am a member of Brookside Church in Chillicothe and have attended there for 10 years. God has really blessed our family.
